I collect no information on you, because you're not that interesting, and I'm bad at marketing… Oh! Wait! Your username will show up on high scores. Along with your score! It's possible people will find out that you're good at the game, and also that a user with your username exists. Also maybe they'll find out that you're really bad, but no one really scrolls down that far.

Plasma Sky runs on Steam, and Steam sees what every Steam game sends: that you're playing, your achievements, and your scores.

When you finish a run the game posts your score to a Steam leaderboard under your Steam name. Along with the score it sends a few numbers about the run, like how far you got.

A script reads the public leaderboards looking for cheaters, and it keeps some leaderboard info in its logs.
